At Castles and Cottages, our philosophy for modifications to existing residences relies on the belief that there are two design approaches to each project.  An addition must either appear as an original integral part of the existing structure, or a renovation must be designed that creates a complete new vision beyond the original home.  The final design must incorporate the needs of our clients while holding true to this philosophy.  Scale and proportions become the utmost concern, and our architectural experiences with a vast array of renovation designs allows us to create perfectly scaled additions and renovations.   Our goal is to provide our clients with alterations that meet their needs, while maintaining the belief that an addition or modification must be constructed with vision of the entire structure, maintaining scale, proportion and contextualism.
